John G. Lynch Jr., Ph.D., Professor, director of the Center for Research on Consumers’ Financial Decision Making, and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Research at the Leeds School of Business has been selected to receive designation as a Distinguished Professor. Lynch will join the top ranks of CU faculty, including two Nobel Laureates, in this honor. This revered title is given to scholars of national and international acclaim whose peers recognize their exceptionally talented teachers and colleagues. Several of the nomination letters highlighted Lynch’s academic contributions and his drive to help others succeed. Lynch has been an instrumental figure in marketing and has pioneered research on memory and consumer decision making, internet retailing, and consumer financial decision making. In 2015 Lynch was one of the 25 most cited scholars in the world. Leeds is lucky to have Lynch’s academic excellence and commitment to teaching.
