Student Clubs

Leeds Investment and Trading Group

The Leeds Investment & Trading Group, referred to as LIT, is a student-led organization dedicated to cultivating a group of intellectually curious students equipped with both the critical and creative aptitude to participate in the financial markets. In congruence with this mission, LIT promotes widespread financial literacy among its peers, from all interdisciplinary backgrounds, by providing a unique forum in which members can freely learn, discuss, and debate global market trends and investing opportunities. Additionally, the club coordinates events using online trading simulators to allow members to engage in friendly investment competitions, thereby providing its members with both the fellowship and real world investing expertise that we hope will manifest into prudent investment and career decisions.

Financial Planning and Analysis

MBA Finance Club

The MBA Finance Club is a student-led organization designed to serve as a link between the MBA program and the finance community. It is a great opportunity to learn more about potential career paths in finance and network with finance professionals, alumni, and fellow students. Additionally, it is my hope that the organization reaches out to more individuals than those interested in traditional finance topics such as corporate finance, investment management, and investment banking through exposure to non-traditional topics such as socially responsible investing. We are committed to planning the best events, speakers, networking and career resourcing activities to further facilitate interest in finance.
