Global Programs
Take Your Business Education Abroad
The globalization of the marketplace demands employees who can compete in a multicultural business environment in the United States and around the world. To prepare students for this, Leeds offers immersive programs and experiences designed for undergraduate and graduate students to deepen their understanding of global cultures and international business. Through these opportunities abroad, students develop a heightened level of intercultural competence and other critical skills needed for a successful career in business.
Go Global
Expand your horizons and prepare for today’s business world by participating in a global program. In addition to exploring different cultures and developing intercultural competency, you’ll gain exposure to international business practices, helping you succeed in transforming the future of business after you graduate.
The First-Year Global Experience (FGX) program is a spring semester elective that includes a short-term global experience during Spring Break or May term.
The Global Business Certificate prepares students with the skills needed to be successful in any multicultural business environment.
Leeds students can earn credit and gain a competitive advantage while interning abroad.
MBA students learn about international operations with a spring semester course and weeklong global experience.
Through a Global Seminar, students can study various topics in international business in a three- to five-week course taught abroad by Leeds faculty. Global Intentives are taught on the CU campus during the semester, culminating in a two-week experience abroad with the class.
Education Abroad offers numerous study abroad opportunities throughout the year for all CU students.
