MBA Career TreksThe Leeds MBA Marketing Club is one of the top resources available to students pursuing future careers in marketing. Some of the opportunities offered by the club include spring and fall treks to local businesses, speakers, lunch-and-learns, and a fall keynote event. New this year, the Marketing Match-Up is a networking event geared at connecting graduate students with marketing professionals in the greater Boulder/Denver area.

Marketing treks allow students to get an inside look at different companies while making connections which could lead to future internships or full-time jobs.  This fall, the club went on a trek to Zayo in Boulder.  Additionally, the club hosted DanoneWave on campus for an informational session.  Both companies have offered internships and hired Leeds MBAs in the past.

MBA Career TreksZayo provides communication infrastructure services, including fiber and bandwidth connectivity, colocation, and cloud services.  The Marketing Club students had the opportunity to tour the facility, sit down with Zayo’s top marketing talent and ask a wide variety of questions, and participate in informational one-on-one sessions.

DanoneWave is a consumer packaged food and beverage company that manufactures, markets, distributes, and sells branded products throughout North America and Europe. The Marketing club was excited to host DanoneWave and listen to several of their marketing channel managers discuss how products are placed and how the company focuses on consumer needs.

We are lucky to have Leeds MBA graduates at both Zayo and DanoneWave that continue to support the MBA program!
