MBA Blog Ian McNabMy experience with CU’s full time MBA program has been very positive. I’m a second year MBA candidate concentrating in marketing and entrepreneurship, and it is amazing how much I’ve learned in the last year plus. Coming from a business background, I wasn’t sure how valuable getting an MBA would be, but it turns out that I’m constantly learning new skills and meeting impactful people. A great example is my exposure to digital marketing through Professor Laura Kornish’s Digital Marketing course. Prior to my MBA, I had no experience with the field, whether analytics or coding and building websites. About half-way through my 3rd semester it’s amazing how much I now know. I’ve built my own website, www.snowjunkiecolorado.com, and I’m learning various ways to drive traffic to it. If you enjoy skiing or snowboarding in powder, you should definitely check it out! This is a perfect example of a tool and skillset that the Leeds MBA program has helped me add to my toolbox. I’m excited to keep learning.
