Leeds students have the opportunity to connect with leading employers through events like Buffs to Business, Leeds Graduate Networking and Recruiting Night, the All Colorado Business School Career Fair, as well as more targeted recruiting events and employer information sessions. We also support and encourage attendance at national MBA career fairs.
Attending a career trek allows our students the chance to learn from and network with alumni, immerse themselves in different company cultures, and be presented with unique opportunities. Past Leeds career treks have visited companies in cities including New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, Salt Lake City and more.
The Professional Mentorship Program (PMP) is a unique program that offers one-on-one executive-to-student mentoring to Leeds School MBA candidates. The program, initiated in 2009 at the undergraduate level, has been tremendously successful, doubling in size each year with positive feedback from students and mentors alike.
The mission of the PMP is to enhance the Leeds academic experience through hands-on learning, professional skills development, leadership opportunities, and creating connections and community among current students, Leeds alumni and corporate partners. The PMP provides an outstanding opportunity for Leeds MBAs to interact and network with the industry leaders and change makers they hope to become.
If you’re planning on making a career change, a summer internship is crucial to restructuring your skills, enhancing your resume and positioning yourself as a highly marketable candidate in your new industry or functional area of expertise.
