Interdisciplinary insights
In the workplace, business and technology have long gone hand in hand. At CU Boulder, these disciplines are literally joined by the Rustandy Building, the newest academic building on campus. This state-of-the-art collaboration center and learning lab already is changing how students and researchers work together to solve complex problems.
We would not be where we are today without the university’s resources—financial resources, but also access to mentorship, new knowledge and networks.”
Camila Uzcategui (MMatSci’18; PhD’21)

“The chance for MBAs to work alongside people in aerospace or chemistry or robotics is important, because today’s leaders need to be able to work across different disciplinary boundaries.”
Professor Jeffrey York
Research director, Deming Center for Entrepreneurship
“A lot of what’s taught in business is traditional, in that technology hasn’t gotten there yet—but it’s arriving fast. It’s what I enjoyed about resources like the Bloomberg Lab.”
Diego Alvarez (Math, Econ’22)
Data Scientist, Weiss Multi-Strategy Advisers

More ways Leeds is ready
Career development efforts at Leeds ensure students learn and apply valuable skills that lead to professional success. Those lessons are developed and enriched through a capstone experience, extensive mentorship and regular face time with career experts.
One of Leeds' strategic priorities is giving more women the skills needed to become leaders. That starts in business schools. Leeds' undergraduate Class of 2026 is 49% female, and several graduate programs have achieved a 50-50 balance.
Say hi to the Leeds team at the AACSB Associate Deans Conference in New Orleans! Associate Dean Stephanie Gillin will be presenting on crisis management. She will be joined at the conference by Kristi Ryujin and Rich Wobbekind.
