This special event presented by the Center for Education on Social Responsibility at the Leeds School of Business in partnership with the Boulder Chamber, as part of the Conference on World Affairs, seeks to answer the question:
How can businesses collaborate with government and nonprofits to redefine products and services to design waste out, while minimizing negative environmental impacts in promoting a more sustainable future at a profit?

Mark Meaney is a member of the City of Boulder’s Task Force on the Circular Economy, a public-private partnership meant to share best practices on how best to create an infrastructure to support the circular economy in Boulder.
After the Ellen Macarthur Foundation selected Boulder to become one of the 12 international cities in its Circular Cities Network, Boulder Mayor Suzanne Jones joined with Boulder’s Regional Sustainability Coordinator Jonathan Koehn to create the task force.
