Here are just a few of our talented, inspirational students who are embarking on the next part of their business journey.

Meet some of our graduates

Ananya Tyagi (Fin’21)

My time at Leeds has been about building a foundation that I will carry with me for my future. Not just classes, but also friendships, connections and experiences that helped me grow as a person. As a Leeds grad, I know that I'm entering the workforce and the ‘real world’ prepared to face anything, and I have a vast network of people for support.

Evan Clark (Mgmt’21)

I've always loved thinking about the future and how humans might use technology to solve problems. To me, technology is the easy part—humans are a bit more complicated. Collaboration, humility and empathy are crucial to tackling any big problem. These are all skills I've improved upon dramatically over the past four years and that have helped me even more than technical skills (of course, I grew those skills too!).

Thaala Loper (MBA’21)

I chose to pursue an MBA at Leeds because I am passionate about working at the cross section of business and social change. My time at Leeds has been an incredible opportunity to grow as a leader and take on issues like racial injustice and voter suppression through collective activism and community building. I have made lifelong friends and sharpened my toolkit for being a catalyst for systems-level change.

Michael Marcoux (Mgmt’21)

My time at Leeds encouraged me to piece together a guiding vision for my life after college. I was challenged to explore many different career paths and hear from mentors that found success in ways that were less than ordinary. Leeds gave me the confidence to not rely on finding a ‘perfect fit’ career path, but instead focus on how different classes fit in with my own passions.

I am interested in entrepreneurship that can create social impact and is within the technological, creative, and consumer behavior spheres. Through the knowledge I acquired from Leeds, as well as with the support of faculty, I have been able to explore these passions … I have founded two anti-bullying startups; represented Leeds at the International Startups & Spin-Offs Festival; done research on behavior-related topics; and have been an international TEDx speaker.

Join Leeds for a virtual Graduate Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, May 6 and the Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony on Friday, May 7 to commemorate and recognize this year’s graduating class and all of their accomplishments, hard work and resilience. We look forward to celebrating with the graduates and Leeds community, and we’re excited for our Buffs to go forth and make change in the real world.

Congratulations to the Leeds School of Business Class of 2021! #ForeverBuffs
