Andrew Stephan is an Assistant Professor in the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. Andrew is interested how information flows between capital market participants. Specifically, his research investigates how different types of investors shape demand for corporate disclosure and how these disclosures are interpreted by market participants. His research also examines how information is exchanged between investors and market intermediaries. Before his academic career, Andrew worked as an auditor with Grant Thornton in Cincinnati, OH. He audited middle market companies in a variety of industries including manufacturing, health care, and hospitality. Andrew is a certified public accountant in the State of Ohio.
Andrew currently teaches Corporate Financial Reporting I (ACCT 3220) in the Leeds School of Business.
