Brandon G. Christensen is a PhD candidate in the Marketing Department. He received his undergraduate degree in Marketing Management from The Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. He worked in brand management and as a promotions manager before starting his PhD in 2020. Brandon's research examines what inhibits people from consuming luxury goods and services. He also researches the effects of racial bias in the marketplace and what may mitigate those adverse effects. His other research interests include psychological ownership and strategic modesty.
