Curriculum

  • From insight into action: in this first live session we will cover unconscious bias and leader identity to help understand how our own experiences shape our leadership.
  • Being inclusive: in the second live session we will continue to explore experiences around inclusion and start to discuss conscious actions to be more inclusive.
  • Allyship: in the third live session we will examine how we can be better allies, confronting micro aggressions and amplifying voices.
  • Stepping up to Inclusive Culture.

Before the course, students will receive the INCLUSIFY assessment and a copy of the book. As a special part of this course, all participants will receive feedback on our proprietary inclusive leadership assessment.

The Certificate in Inclusive Leadership was designed and is led by Dr. Stefanie K. Johnson, an associate professor of Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics at the Leeds School of Business.

Dr. Johnson has presented her work at over 170 meetings around the world including at the White House for a 2016 summit on diversity in corporate America. Media outlets featuring Stefanie’s work include: The Economist, Newsweek, Time, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, HuffPost, Washington Post, Quartz, Discover, CNN, ABC, NBC, CNBC.
