CU Generations - Special Edition Spotlight 
How many generations of Buffs do you have in your family?
Our family has three consecutive generations of Buffs and seven in total who have attended CU!
Why did you choose to come to Leeds?
Both my Grandfather and Father attended the Leeds School of Business. I grew up hearing stories of their time at CU and saw how much business has played a role in their lives. I knew that one day I wanted to own my own business and was impressed with the reputation of Leeds. Being in Boulder with the views of the Flatirons didn't hurt either.
What do you remember your grandparent(s) sharing about their time at CU?
My Grandpa had a young family and a full-time job in Littleton. He would drive every day to attend night classes in Boulder. He always had a great appreciation for education and the opportunities that came with it, referring to his time at CU as a critical point for him and his family.
What is one piece of advice/best practice your grandparent(s) shared that has stuck with you?
I didn't know what I wanted to specialize in as a freshman. My Grandpa shared that he had wished he had focused on Finance, so the next semester I declared that as my area of emphasis. The ultimate takeaway from my grandfather was that you can do anything you want if you are willing to dedicate the time and energy to it.
