Mindy Sclaro

Mindy Sclaro is an Academic Advisor working primarily with students who have declared Finance, Accounting and Real Estate as their area of emphasis. She came to Leeds after serving as an academic coordinator in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics for twenty years. During her tenure, she worked with the men’s basketball, lacrosse, women’s golf, volleyball and the men’s golf teams. She also served as the sport supervisor for the reining NCAA national champion ski team. Mindy’s expertise lies in designing individualized academic plans, implementing retention strategies, and coaching students to achieve their full potential—both in the classroom and beyond. 

Mindy holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology (Ithaca College) with a focus on therapeutic intervention, a master’s degree in Sports Administration (University of Northern Colorado) and a Graduate Certificate in Comparative Ethnic Studies (CU Boulder). 

In her time off, Mindy enjoys watching sports, supporting the Buffs, roller skating, live music and hanging out with her husband and dog.
