Ash Ganzoury

Ash is a PhD Candidate in the Strategy and Entrepreneurship department at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research is at the intersection between venture accelerator programs, and environmental and academic entrepreneurship. Ash is a mixed-methods researcher and has completed research projects in North America and Europe. He teaches entrepreneurship and strategy courses at the Leeds School of Business. His research, teaching and service inform each other.
During his time at CU, Ash served as the president of the Graduate and Professional Student Government where he worked across academic communities with PhD students, faculty and administrators on CU shared-governance projects. He was a member of the Diversity & Identity Management lab, as well as the Environment, Decision, Judgment, and Identity lab. Ash volunteered as a mentor to academics and founders in accelerator programs. He has co-organized several professional development workshops at the Academy of Management. As an alumnus at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, Ash serves as the self-leadership chapter head.
Prior to joining CU, Ash coached strategic leadership at the University of Tampa. He also pursued an entrepreneurial project through the University of South Florida’s student R&D incubator and National Science Foundation (NSF i-Corps) fellowships. Ash has a Bachelor of Science in architecture engineering and an executive Master of Business Administration in aviation management. He has more than a decade of practical experience in international business development, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Ash's personal interests include skiing, jogging, climbing, dancing, cooking, reading, comedy, and exploring nature and culture.
