Business Opportunities in Climate Tech (Fall 2026)
“Business Opportunities in Climate Tech” is a 7-week seminar which consists of lectures from industry experts, founders and investors about business opportunities in the climate space. In addition to lectures, the seminar includes class socials and opportunities for small group discussions with external partners. Students may enroll in MBAX 6570 to participate. Faculty and community members are welcome to attend.

Climate Tech Venture Discovery (Spring 2026)
Climate Tech Venture Discovery includes core lectures on entrepreneurship principles, guest visits from founders and investors, and dedicated time for project development and feedback for participating teams. BCV sources external advisors with expertise in venture capital and climate tech to support teams in their techno discovery. Open to enrolled students or individuals affiliated with the university. Boulder Climate Ventures is led by the Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility (CESR) and the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship and made possible by a gift from Breakthrough Energy, Bill Gates’ global initiative on climate change. BCV is part of Breakthrough Energy’s University Climate Ventures program, which also supports programs at Stanford, MIT, Technical University of Munich and Nanyang University in Singapore.
