The Leeds Business Confidence Index dipped slightly in Q3, but the Outlook remains positive as indicators reported a positive outlook. Unemployment rates also continued to fall in Colorado from the previous quarter.
Reporting on the Leeds Business Confidence Index (LCBI) for Q2 revealed that optimism remains high as the Confidence Index showed an increase from the previous quarter. The confidence index cited positive year-over-year employment growth and overall Colorado unemployment level.
To understand the factors affecting economic resiliency within communities, a study was conducted of Colorado’s 47 nonmetropolitan counties. Through secondary and primary research, including information obtained through focus groups and interviews, the research team detailed tangible and intangible assets and attributes that contribute comparative advantages.
