Global Seminars & Global Intensives

Global Seminars

Global Seminars are summer programs in which a small class of CU Boulder students take coursework taught by a CU Boulder faculty member abroad. The course(s) have a specific theme related to the Faculty Director’s area of expertise, so you will have the opportunity to learn from an expert in a real-world context.

Global Intensives

Global Intensives are semester-long courses taught on campus at CU Boulder, featuring an immersive international component. A Leeds faculty member leads a small class of Leeds students, who then travel together in May to explore the course themes in a local, real-world context.

Build your business skills during the spring semester on campus, then put them into practice on a 9-day trip to Tokyo and Kyoto—learning from start-ups, global companies, and Japan’s vibrant culture.

Spend the spring semester mastering design thinking, lean startup tools, and global market testing on campus, then bring those skills to life during a two-week experiential trip to Japan.
