Global Seminars
Global Seminars are summer programs in which a small class of CU Boulder students take coursework taught by a CU Boulder faculty member abroad. The course(s) have a specific theme related to the Faculty Director’s area of expertise, so you will have the opportunity to learn from an expert in a real-world context.
Study entrepreneurship & innovation and the critical role each play in the economic development of a nation
Study with business executives, economists and government officials, all while interning in the financial capital of the world.
Study Organizational Behavior in China: how individuals, teams, and work practices impact the production of goods and services.
Experience real world innovation in a country that is a world leader in the export of goods and services.
Study management while getting an inside look at Spanish and international companies
Study competitive strategy from a global perspective and explore a beautiful town with a cosmopolitan feel.
Global Intensives
Global Intensives are semester-long courses taught on campus at CU Boulder, featuring an immersive international component. A Leeds faculty member leads a small class of Leeds students, who then travel together in May to explore the course themes in a local, real-world context.
Build your business skills during the spring semester on campus, then put them into practice on a 9-day trip to Tokyo and Kyoto—learning from start-ups, global companies, and Japan’s vibrant culture.
Spend the spring semester mastering design thinking, lean startup tools, and global market testing on campus, then bring those skills to life during a two-week experiential trip to Japan.
Events & Deadlines
Summer 2026 International Internship Opportunity - Apply by February 15
Students interested in international internships are encouraged to stop by the Sage Corps information table on February 11th from 3:00–5:00 PM in the Leeds Building to learn more.
Sage Corps is a CU Boulder–approved program offering summer 2026 internships with startup companies abroad. Eligible students may earn academic credit and access financial aid or scholarships through participation.
