Nikki is a PhD Candidate in Accounting at the University of Colorado at Boulder (expected graduation 2019). Her research interests include how managerial incentives shape disclosure decisions and the role information intermediaries play in interpreting firm disclosure. Nikki graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (2009) and a Master of Accounting degree (2010). She spent several years working as both an external and internal auditor prior to joining the doctoral program, and is a CPA licensed in the state of Colorado. Since joining the PhD program, Nikki has won awards for research, teaching, and reviewing papers.
