Bryce Schonberger

Bryce Schonberger’s research focuses on corporate disclosure, with an emphasis on: (i) the implications of managers’ disclosure decisions for investment, compensation contracting, and monitoring of the firm’s executive team; (ii) the usefulness of firm-provided information for capital market participants; and (iii) introducing and applying empirical methods to accounting research that enhance the ability to draw causal inferences. His research has been published in the field's leading journals including the Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, and Review of Accounting Studies. 

Bryce received a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Southern California and an undergraduate and masters in accounting degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to his academic career, Bryce worked in the advisory group at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Denver, CO. He provided electronic audit support to audit teams designed to help assess fraud risk and identify unusual transactions. Bryce is a certified public accountant in Colorado.
