Evan Clark is studying Entrepreneurship and Computer Science with a certificate in Leadership. He wants to start a business out of college and become an entrepreneur in the Boulder startup community. He plans to get involved with major technology like AI and space travel but currently tinkers with algorithmic trading and app development. For hobbies, Evan locally performs rock music and stand-up comedy.
Giselle DeGrandchamp is majoring in Marketing and Management Leadership with a minor in Political Science. Along with being a Leeds Scholar, Giselle is a brother in the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, a member of the Leeds Honors Program, American Marketing Association, CESR Fellows, and a Leeds Peer 2 Peer mentor. This summer, she worked at the Colorado Department of Agriculture as an International Marketing Intern and holds a part time job as a Marketing Assistant at the CU Engineering Management Program. She is deeply passionate about creating positive change through business.
James Donahue is studying Finance and Accounting. This past summer, he interned in the fixed income group of Janus Henderson, a $350 billion asset manager based out of London. James is a member of Global Platinum Securities, a student run investment fund, and a brother of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity on campus. During the school year, James works in the business research division of Leeds, where he performs economic research. He spent the summer of 2018 studying in Barcelona; James also travelled to Tokyo through the Scholars FGX Program. Outside of the classroom, James enjoys skiing and following sports.
Ben Gerding is studying Management and Marketing with a minor in Media Production. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, he has spent time interning as a Marketing Coordinator, Financial Analyst, and most recently spent the summer of 2019 interning on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Ben is the proud Founder and President of the Marvel Super Movie Club at CU, as well as a member of CU Swing Dance. His other hobbies include watching and playing basketball and football, as well as playing video games with friends. Ben works on campus at the Leeds Welcome Desk and for Colorado Buffaloes Men's Basketball Team, and has tremendously enjoyed his experience in Boulder.
Lewis Graubart is studying Finance and Real Estate. He is involved in the Leeds Scholars Program, the Real Estate Club, and the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He is from Houston, Texas and enjoys traveling, hiking, watching sports, and playing poker. Last summer he worked in Denver doing commercial real estate, though, his favorite job he's ever had was working at a paddle board shack on Lake Austin. One day he will manage financial portfolios for the greatest athletes and talents around the world.
Ava Jodlowski is pursuing a dual-emphasis in Finance and Information Management and Analytics. She is in the Leeds Honors Program as well as a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Ava is from Telluride, CO and enjoys listening to music, traveling, and skiing! Over the summer, Ava participated in the Business of Sports Certificate Program at Leeds and did a consulting project for the Colorado Mammoth lacrosse team.
Sandeep Kaushik is from Longmont, Colorado and is studying Marketing, Information Analytics as well as Computer Science. In addition to school, Sandeep loves photography, videography, graphic design, and music. Starting his sophomore year, he took a role in a marketing position at Warner Music Group where he continues to work this year, now as the content creator and manager.
Lisa Merzbach-Bolling is pursuing a dual emphasis in Operations and Information Management as well as a Technology, Arts, and Media minor. She hopes to one day use the skills to embrace sustainable supply chain practices. During her time at CU she has been an active member of Hillel, volunteers with Alpha Phi Omega, and dances salsa with Ritmos Latinos. Her favorite parts of Scholars was the eye-opening FGX to Japan, as well as the incredible professional and personal connections the program fosters.
Alexis Pring is studying Marketing and Information Analytics with a minor in Music and certificates in SRE and Leadership. She is involved in the Honors program, Leeds Consulting Group, Delta Sigma Pi, and the Peer2Peer Mentoring Program. Last summer, she interned at Arrow Electronics and traveled on the FGX to South Africa. In her free time, she enjoys dancing and playing the violin. Post graduation, she hopes to work in consulting and help solve major environmental issues.
Alyssa Radtke is studying Operations Management with a minor in Germanic Studies and certificate in Global Business. She is Secretary of Delta Sigma Pi and a member of the Student Ambassadors, Leeds Ambassadors, and a volunteer with The Conference on World Affairs. In the summer of 2019 she worked as an inside sales intern for Arrow Electronics. Her favorite activities include going to concerts and cheering on the Buffs at football games. In the future she hopes to work in an international setting and eventually bring medical supplies and medical care to underserved areas of the globe.
Hannah Seely is a member of Leeds Honors and Scholars, VP of the Marvel Super Movie Club, and Leader on the Navigators and on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is from Highlands Ranch, Colorado and loves to dance and travel. She spent her 2019 Summer opening a Chai Shop in India to employ women at risk for human trafficking and interning at Nextworld as a QA Software Engineer.
Hayden Smith is from Greeley, Colorado and is pursuing a degree with majors in Operations Management and Strategy and Entrepreneurship, a minor in Art History, and certificates in Leadership and Business of Sports. At CU, Hayden has been involved in playing intramural sports as well as being an avid fan of the Division 1 programs, the CU Cornhole Club, was a mentor for FGX South Africa this past year, and has traveled to Austin, Texas with Leeds Scholars for the first annual alumni reunion. Hayden also works for CU Athletics in customer relations, as a salesperson at Sunglass Hut, and interned in sales this past summer for a software company called Mavrck.
Will Sun is studying finance and computer science. This past summer, Will interned at Group One Trading in Chicago. At CU Will is involved in trading competitions such as the CQA Challenge and Midwest Trading Competition. In his free time Will enjoys piano, guitar, powerlifting, drawing, soccer, and Rocket League.
Leo Tonozzi is pursuing a business degree with an emphasis in information management. He is also participating in the computer science and business integration program offered by Leeds and the CU school of engineering. As a director for the Boulder Freeride Ski and Snowboard club he spends much of his Winter outside skiing or planning events for club members. During the summers he enjoys mountain biking and whitewater kayaking.
Dylan Turner is studying Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Technology, Arts, and Media. When he isn't in class, he spends his free time skateboarding, snowboarding, shooting photography, and filming and editing videos. Dylan is involved in a multitude of school clubs including the American Marketing Association and plays an active role as the media director of both the CU Snowboarding Team and CU Skateboard Society.
Rachel Vincent is studying Accounting and Talent Management. She is the co-founder of a non-profit organization called JJ's LIGHT Foundation. Rachel is also a member of Beta Alpha Psi and an avid soccer player for the CU Women's Club Soccer team. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and watching movies. Rachel's most memorable moment with LSP was traveling to South Africa on the FGX trip.
Claire Wolff is studying business and completing a sociology minor. She studied abroad for both semesters of her junior year in Sydney and Madrid. Her favorite part of the Scholars program has been extending her FGX trip to Japan and traveling around with some fellow scholars for the summer. She also loved being a mentor for the LSP class of 2022 on their FGX to South Africa.
Maxime Brandt is pursuing a dual degree in Business and Environmental Studies and plans to receive a certificate in socially responsible enterprise. Maxime has dual citizenship in the US and The Netherlands and before college spent 5 months living and working abroad. In addition to travel, Maxime enjoys photography, cooking, reading, and exploring the outdoors. Along with Leeds Scholars, Maxime is involved in CESR Fellows and Alpha Kappa Psi a professional business fraternity. Maxime plans to use her degrees to pursue a career in sustainable business in the natural foods industry.
Brett Brenner is an honors business student pursuing a dual emphasis in finance and accounting with a certificate in leadership. He served on Leeds Student Government for 2 years, was on the executive board of Peer2Peer for over a year, is a senior consultant with Leeds Consulting Group, and served on exec for Alpha Kappa Psi. Outside of school, you can catch Brett enjoying Pearl Street with his friends, swimming or tubing at the creek, or running and playing tennis. If you ever see him, ask him about his FGX experience in South Africa or his extension throughout Europe!
Diego Chirico is studying business at Leeds with an emphasis in accounting and finance as well as pursuing a minor in economics. On campus, he is a sector head for the Leeds Investment & Trading Group Investment Fund, a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, and is in the Leeds Scholars and Honors programs. Diego completed an investment banking summer analyst internship in New York City and plans to pursue a career in financial services. He enjoys traveling and going offroading whenever possible..
Siobhan Cleary is majoring in accounting. Originally from Minnesota, she now calls Denver her home. She is also a part of the Peer2Peer mentoring program and CU Hiking Club. When Siobhan is not studying, she enjoys hiking, cross country skiing, and playing with her dog, Penny. Siobhan hopes for great success in and beyond the classroom with the help of the Leeds Scholars Program.
Lilly Corsi pursuing a major in marketing with a minor in Technology, Arts and Media Engineering (TAM), and she has a special interest in the outdoor industry as well as international business. Her hobbies include singing, music, skiing, hiking, watersports and anything else involving the outdoors—all of which are popular in her hometown of Seattle, WA. She is incredibly excited to continue her journey at CU by taking advantage of opportunities to grow both locally and abroad.
Julia DellaSalle is pursuing an emphasis in Accounting and Finance along with certificates in Entrepreneurship and Global Business. In addition to the Leeds Scholars Program, she gives tours of the business school as a Leeds Ambassador, mentors freshmen through the Peer-to-Peer Mentorship Program, and is the Assistant Philanthropy Director of Chi Omega. In her free time, Julia loves playing tennis, hiking, skiing, traveling, and volunteering. Her favorite memory from CU so far has been the scholars FGX to South Africa where she worked on a consulting project for a shelter in Soweto.
Chiara Giannella is a senior studying Finance. She is from San Diego, California and loves going to the beach, writing music, volunteering in her community, and traveling. Alongside LSP, Chiara is involved in Peer2Peer mentoring and Leeds Honors and has aspirations to join clubs and complete the Real Estate Certificate.
Olivia Johnson is a fourth year student from Chicago at the Leeds School of Business with an emphasis in Accounting and Marketing. She also has been accepted into the BAM Program and will be pursuing her Masters in Accounting and will be CPA eligible by May 2023. Olivia loves spending time outdoors by going skiing, playing golf, and going on adventures with her friends and family. She is part of the Delta Gamma Sorority at CU and is the Homecoming and Athletics Chair for CU Student Government. Olivia cannot wait to make more amazing memories this next year in Colorado.
Cindy Lee has as a strong desire to learn different languages and more about data analysis. This past summer, she worked at Vestas, a wind blade manufacturing company, as a Production Service Intern in the Technical Support Department. In her leisure time, she enjoys being outdoors, drawing, and reading. She aspires to travel to all East Asian countries and possibly running her own business in the future.
Angeline McCarty Lee is a Senior, graduating in December 2021, pursuing a degree in Marketing with a focus in Sales and Account Management. On-campus, Angeline is involved with CU Boulder's Senior Class Council, Dean's Student Leadership & Values Council, a member of the Leeds Consulting Group, Delta Sigma Pi, and the Public Relations Student Society of America, and works as a Career Peer at the Leeds School of Business. After graduation, she looks forward to moving to the East coast and pursuing a career in Marketing & PR.
Dana Nguyen is a senior at the Leeds School of Business studying Information Management and Talent Management as well as a double major in Integrative Physiology. She is passionate about healthcare for the underserved and plans to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant when she graduates. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking, and running.
Emma Pearson is a senior at CU pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She is passionate about marine conservation and is in the process of publishing research on blue whales. Emma is also involved with Leeds Consulting Group and Alpha Kappa Psi. In her free time, Emma enjoys skiing, SCUBA diving, and taste testing glazed donuts.
Maggie Perry is a senior at the Leeds School of Business from Virginia. She is currently pursuing a dual emphasis in Marketing and Business Analytics, as well as a minor in Creative Technology and Design and a certificate in Leadership. She is involved with Delta Sigma Pi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Peer2Peer Mentoring, and works in the Leeds Advising office. Alex Schwartz is studying business with an emphasis in information analytics and a computer science integration. He loves how technology combines with business and got to apply some of his IT skills in the summer of 2021 as an intern at E&J Gallo Winery. One of Alex’s favorite things to do outside of school is volunteer with the dogs at the humane society!
Wesley Toy is a senior at the Leeds School of Business majoring in Finance and Accounting, as well as pursuing a certificate in Quantitative Finance. In his free time, Wesley enjoys playing basketball and going snowboarding at Winter Park. One of his best memories in the Leeds Scholars Program was the FGX trip to South Africa.
Maggie Wortman is studying finance and accounting. Maggie plans on completing a minor in Technology, Arts and Media and a certificate in Global Business. She is involved in greek life and other business related clubs including Women in Business and Delta Sigma Pi. Some of Maggie’s hobbies include basketball, hiking, travel, and eating. Anya Aidun is a junior at the Leeds School of Business studying information management with a minor in Creative Technology and Design. She is passionate about DEI in the tech and business worlds and hopes to pursue consulting after graduation. Anya enjoys zumba, hiking, and loves to find new places to eat.
Grant Amen is studying Finance and pursuing a certificate in Quantitative Finance with minors in Math and Economics. While in high school, Grant played football and lacrosse and was the Director of Community Outreach for Unified Lacrosse, an organization dedicated to uniting disabled and non-disabled athletes through the game of lacrosse. Grant was born and raised in Greenwood Village, Colorado and loves skiing, hunting and fly fishing.
Brodie Bartholomew is originally from Chicago, Illinois and relocated to Boulder in 2012. He attended Fairview High School where he was active in student leadership and played football. He is studying finance at the Leeds School of Business. Brodie has worked since he was 14 and has always been active in sports. He likes hiking, snowboarding, and other outdoor activities.
Lindsay Beil is studying Accounting and Business Analytics at Leeds. She is also working toward a minor in Creative Technology and Design and the Business Leadership Certificate. Lindsay currently serves as the president of her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. In her free time, Lindsay loves to hike and try new recipes. Lindsay is looking forward to her remaining time at Leeds!
Nathan Betsch is a graduate of Mead High School and currently studying management and computer science at the Leeds School of Business. Although he was born in Longmont, Colorado, Nathan lived in Southeast Asia for eight and a half years. He enjoys playing basketball and hiking, but in high school participated in student council and worked at Chick-Fil-A for over two years.
Izzy Diamond is leaning towards majoring in finance. She is from a suburb right by Denver and has always wanted to attend Boulder. She played field hockey and tennis in high school and loves to volunteer. She is so excited to meet new people in the LSP.
Zach Dickman is studying finance. In high school, he was involved in various clubs and sports like peer mentoring, cross country, and ski team. Outside of School, Zach likes to play basketball, enjoy the outdoors, and travel to new places. Zach is very excited to be joining the Leeds Scholars Program and all that it has to offer.
Patrick Dolan is studying business management. Patrick has lived in Colorado for most of his life and has taken advantage of all of the outdoor activities CO has to offer. He likes to ski, snowmobile, hike, mountain bike, and dirt bike. Patrick played varsity soccer and track all four years of high school as well as being apart of the National Honors Society. He is very excited to meet others with similar interests and explore every opportunity he can at CU!
John Douthit is completing the Management and Entrepreneurship area of emphasis with a certificate in Leadership. At his high school in Lafayette, Colorado John founded Business Innovation Club, spent time as a peer mentor, and played varsity soccer. He has been a soccer referee since age 12, so he has gotten used to condemnation from rowdy soccer parents. A music aficionado, John enjoys producing music and learning to play various instruments such as guitar. He also loves spending time in nature and hammocking in the Flatirons.
Sadie Fletcher is a student at the Leeds School of Business pursuing an emphasis in finance. Sadie is originally from Littleton, Colorado, and was an active member of student government, FBLA, and crew throughout high school. She loves hiking and skiing, and can't wait to take advantage of all the clubs and activities Boulder has to offer.
Arianna Greenspan is a student at the University of Colorado Boulder at the Leeds School of Business who is studying marketing from Erie, Colorado. In high school, Arianna was involved in many clubs, including National Honor Society, Student Council, and a freshman initiation club. Outside of school, Arianna worked at Chick-fil-A and a child daycare. In her free time, Arianna likes to go hiking, skiing, and travel. She is so excited to be a Leeds Scholar and go on the FGX trip at the end of the year.
Megan Griffith is pursuing a double emphasis in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Creative Technology and Design. In addition to the Leeds Scholars Program, she is involved in the Leeds Peer2Peer Mentorship Program and is the Vice President of Finance and Housing for Pi Beta Phi. In her free time, Megan loves to go to the beach, take workout classes, and travel.
Aidan Labovich is a student t the Leeds School of Business. He is undecided in his area of emphasis, and will be completing a pre-med track as well. He is originally from Germany, but spent the last eight years in Colorado Springs. He enjoys sports such as soccer, skiing, and hiking. He was involved in rock climbing club, National Honor Society, and German Club.
Anneke Lanou is pursuing a dual emphasis in Finance and Operations Management and a minor in Quantitative Economics. She is interested in technology and is interning with a tech startup in the music production industry located in San Francisco, CA. Anneke is a part of the Leeds Consulting Group on campus and she also enjoys co-running the One-2-One case group to help students prepare for consulting recruitment. Outside of school, she likes to ski and also travel; she has citizenship in both the US and the Netherlands.
Jack Leibold is pursuing a double emphasis in finance and accounting along with a space minor. Jack’s main professional interests are in the aerospace, venture capitalism and consulting industries. Some things Jack enjoys outside of school are astrophotography, backpacking, fly fishing and skiing.
Julia Maring is a student at the Leeds School of Business from Eden Prairie, Minnesota with a marketing emphasis and a minor in Spanish as well. She adores being active and spending time outside, and a few of her hobbies include reading, writing, biking, badminton, and playing random roles in plays (such as a squirrel in Willy Wonka). She cannot wait to make the most of her experience in LSP, use her knowledge of business to help others, and hopefully meet people who love dog memes as much as she does.
Jillian Martin is a student in the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has not yet decided on a major, but is interested in Management and Entrepreneurship. Jillian is passionate about spending time outdoors and enjoys swimming, hiking, biking, and any kind of new adventure. During her time at CU, Jillian plans to pursue opportunities for travel and having a positive impact in our global community.
Avery McCauley is pursuing a double major in Computer Science from the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences and in Information Management from the Leeds School of Business. She is passionate about the intersection of business and technology, particularly in the area of cybersecurity. She hopes to have a career in penetration testing. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at the Saint Francis Center for people suffering from homelessness or caring for animals at Boulder Humane Society.

Cattien (Cat) Nguyen is a student at the Leeds School of Business studying management. Cat is from Highlands Ranch, Colorado and was the President of FBLA and Treasurer of NHS at her high school. Her hobbies include skiing, shopping, attending concerts, and spending time with friends and family. Cat plans to be involved in Greek life and Camp Kesem at CU Boulder and is excited to be a part of the Leeds Scholars Program!
Sangati Shah is a student at CU Boulder in the Leeds Scholars program. She is hoping to combine her passion for art with business during her time in college. She has completed internships at the Museum of Contemporary Art as well as created her own art therapy organization working with senior citizens and children. She is hoping that through an exploration of internships and clubs on campus, she will be able to further this passion into a career.
Stas Sieron is currently studying Business Management and Computer Science. While attending high school in Colorado, he was heavily involved in tennis, FBLA, and Habitat for Humanity through out his years in high school. Stas also enjoys skiing, sailing, and rock climbing.
Hannah Skurcenski is a student at CU pursuing a degree in finance with certificates in leadership and global business. Outside of school, Hannah serves as the Vice President of Public Relations for Women in Business Club, and enjoys reading and cooking in her free time.
Carson Smail is studying finance and possibly pursuing the quantitative finance and business leadership certificates. Carson grew up in Colorado and has always loved sports. He played football and lacrosse throughout high school. Besides playing, he also taught lacrosse to children with special needs through Unified Lacrosse and worked as a referee. He was a member of DECA, National Honor Society, and Spanish Honor Society. Carson is excited about being part of the Leeds Scholars Program and having the opportunity to study abroad through the FGX and other programs.
Bethan Webb is an Accounting and Finance student at the Leeds School of Business, aiming to get a certificate in both International Business and Leadership. Growing up in South Africa, India, Chicago, and the UK, Bethan has seen the world from many perspectives and hopes to continue traveling for the rest of her life. Outside of school, Bethan is the VP Finance of her sorority Delta Gamma, and likes to snowboard, bake, and spend time with friends in her free time.
Maxwell Yates is majoring in business with an emphasis in finance. Maxwell is from Denver, Colorado. He loves to hike, fish and ski. In high school Maxwell played hockey and was involved in DECA and key club. This summer, he turned his interest for business into his own lawn care business for the summer. Peyton Biggers is studying Marketing and Business Analytics at the Leeds School of Business with a minor in Leadership and a certificate in Social Responsibility and Ethics. After graduation, Peyton hopes to combine her passions for analytics and marketing with socially responsible organizations or brands. Her hobbies include cooking vegetarian foods, traveling, and cheering on CU sports teams.
Luca Capaldi is a Information Management and Strategic Entrepreneurship student at the Leeds School of Business. He is also completing two certificates in Global Business and Corporate Social Responsibility. He has a passion for sustainability and climate efforts, and hopes to apply them in his future career. He loves to travel and explore, with a personal mission to visit every national park.
Harrison Cohen is a Leeds honors student pursuing a dual emphasis in finance and leadership management alongside a minor in journalism. Outside of academics, he is a writer for the CU Independent newspaper, a research analyst at Genesis Holding Company, and an active brother of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity on campus. Harrison enjoys competing in Mario Kart, playing chess, and cheering on his hometown Phoenix Suns.
Phoebe Denenberg is a sophomore in the Leeds Scholars program. She will be studying business management and entrepreneurship as well as pursuing a minor in sociology. She attended The Benjamin High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida where she was the vice president of the Mindful Student Club, a member of the National Honor Society, as well as a mentor to special needs students for the nonprofit organization, TOPs Soccer. Despite coming all the way from Florida, Phoebe loves to hike, ski, bike, and enjoy the mountain weather. Phoebe is looking forward to meeting more wonderful people and furthering her experiences in Leeds.
Jackson Klein is an accounting student with a minor in leadership. He is also a member of the Presidents Leadership Class. While in high school he was a part of DECA, a marketing program, as well as playing football and wrestling. Born and raised in Englewood, Colorado, Jackson is interested in hiking, whitewater rafting, and spending time with family and friends.
Shayna Kliger is pursuing a major in marketing and strategic entrepreneurship, and a minor in creative technology and design. Aside from Leeds Scholars, she is involved in Leeds Student Government, Chi Omega, The Women's Network - Boulder, and VC club. She is specifically interested in social media marketing, design, and entrepreneurship and hopes to run her own business in the future. In her free time she enjoys traveling, photography, skiing, and yoga.
Mila Lusso is studying to graduate with a dual emphasis in Finance and Information Management along with a Global Business Certificate. In addition to being in the Leeds Honors and Scholars Program, she is currently involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, Leeds Student Government, and the Peer-to-Peer Mentoring Program. As a lover of traveling, Mila hopes to study abroad in Vienna during her junior year.
Luke Smith is an honors student in the Leeds School of Business studying finance and information management and analytics, along with pursuing minors in mathematics and economics and a certificate in quantitative finance. He is interested in investment banking and consulting as career paths, as he is involved in the Leeds Consulting Group, Leeds Investment and Trading Group, and more. Outside of school, he enjoys hiking and playing tennis.
Alyssa Bullock went to La Junta High School where she led several school and community groups, aided in writing a $65,000 grant for her city, and received the Boettcher scholarship. She is greatly interested in business and STEM-related topics and plans on studying management and computer science. When she is not working or studying, Alyssa likes to keep up to date with the news, watch hilarious cat videos, and investigate how to overcome issues like white-collar crime and social inequality. She is excited to connect with all the students and faculty at CU Boulder through her classes, organizations, and events.
A native of Colorado, Harrison Cymbala spent his childhood exploring, mountain biking and enjoying the beauty of Colorado. In 2018, Harrison co-founded Colorado Rooted, a nonprofit with the mission to plant 1 million trees in Colorado. Through this nonprofit, he facilitates opportunities for families to become stewards of our beautiful state by donating and planting trees. Majoring in Finance, Harrison is excited to be part of the Leeds Scholars program. He is looking forward to opportunities for growth, new skills, and forming professional connections in Boulder through the Leeds program and beyond.
Garrett Eakin is a graduate of Thunder Ridge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado where he was an active member of National Honor Society, DECA, and TSA. In his free time he enjoys lifting weights, playing sports with his friends, and spending time outdoors. Garrett is looking forward to being a part of the Leeds Scholars Program and can't wait to further his business knowledge and expertise.
Jayden Kazantsev is doing a double major in Finance and Double Bass Performance. In addition, he is an active participant in the Leeds Scholars Program and the CU Ultimate Frisbee team. He is originally from Washington State but moved to Boulder County in 2012. Since then, he has started a lawn care business he plans on sustaining through college and beyond. Every day Jayden wakes up excited to learn and experience more at CU.
Anika Knowles is a student at Leeds School of Business and part of the Leeds Scholars Program. She is emphasizing in management and entrepreneurship and pursuing a minor in psychology. Anika is the founder and executive coordinator of a Boulder community giving project that provided presents and necessities to over 115 homeless and struggling families and individuals. She was born and raised in Boulder and enjoys yoga, hiking, sports, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Alex Nguyen is a freshman in the Leeds School of Business and Scholars Program pursuing management and a minor in Computer Science. Born and raised in Thornton, Colorado where he attended the Academy of Charter Schools, Alex was heavily involved in Student Council, National Honors Society, and Interact Club. He enjoys playing basketball, spending time with family, and adventuring outdoors. Alex is excited to be a part of the Leeds Scholars Program and hopes to take advantage of the opportunities it has to offer.
Eli Suchman is an East Coast kid at heart, and he's planning to pursue a major in Management and Entrepreneurship. As a member of both the Honors and Scholars programs, he prioritizes his academics along with exploring the outdoors. While climbing the ranks as an employee at his local ski shop over the course of his high school experience, Eli started two businesses and plans to bring this same entrepreneurial fire power to Boulder. Competition and compassion fall hand-in-hand for Eli, as he's never one to shy away from a challenge or help a friend out.
Grace Trahan is a student in the Leeds School of Business studying finance. She enjoys playing tennis, exploring new restaurants, and hiking with her dog. Grace is excited to meet lots of new people, and, although having lived in Colorado for ten years, finally learn to ski.
MacKenzie Zapp is a freshman at the Leeds School of Business who plans on major in marketing. She additionally plans on joining a sorority and intramural soccer in the fall. Mackenzie loves playing soccer, traveling, skiing, photography, and spending time with friends.
Pria Zaveri is a Colorado native with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. An early bird for any mountain escape and a night owl to prioritize her adventurous nature, Pria plans on pursuing a Major in Management and Entrepreneurship as a Leeds Scholar. She hopes to take these aspirations abroad with a minor in Spanish and firmly believes in learning about diverse cultures. When she’s not running, climbing, or skiing, Pria loves connecting with others both personally and professionally.
