Steffie Ungphakorn

As Senior PhD Program Manager at the Leeds School of Business, Steffie leads the administration and operations of the school’s top-40 PhD program, supporting doctoral education across seven academic areas. Her work spans admissions, student services, funding, academic milestones, policy implementation, and program operations, with a focus on creating effective processes and a strong student experience.

Steffie also contributes to Leeds and CU Boulder initiatives focused on the effective use of generative AI in higher education. As a founding member of the Leeds AI Advisory Committee, she develops and delivers AI training, supports AI literacy, and explores practical applications of emerging technologies to improve administrative work and organizational effectiveness.

A Denver native, Steffie holds a BS in Biology from Regis University and an MA in Higher Education from the University of Denver. Before joining CU Boulder, she worked at the University of Denver’s Center for Multicultural Excellence and served as president of the Staff Advisory Council, experiences that helped shape her longstanding commitment to student support and effective higher education administration.
