Michael Leeds delivered his special guest lecture to our three Introduction to Business (BCOR 1010) classes this past Monday. He visits every BCOR 1010 class, each semester - a longstanding commitment that is invaluable to our Leeds students and important enough to Michael that he never misses.

This semester, his appointed date fell right in the middle of our snowy deep freeze (last week), preventing him from getting to Boulder.  No problem… Michael adjusted his personal schedule without hesitation and travelled to Boulder 5 days later, so that he wouldn’t let our students down.

He described the values-driven operating principles of the Leeds family publishing company, a unique story of socially responsible business, of ethics, and of diversity. Michael brings those secrets of business success to life for all of our first year Leeds students, and along the way, he communicates a message of integrity and values which gets our students started on the path of self-discovery and which stays with them long after they have left Leeds.

Michael Leeds and his family support our Business School with far more than dollars. His commitment of time and expertise gives our students something special… something extra.

How many college graduates get the opportunity to hear their school’s namesake give them business – and life – advice?  ALL of our Leeds students do.
