Marilú Pardo
- Senior Distance Learning Project Manager
- LEARNING AND TEACHING SOLUTIONS (LTS)
Growing up in Puerto Rico shaped how Marilú thinks about access and opportunity, teaching her not to take either for granted. It's a perspective she continues to carry into her work in higher education, where she focuses on creating engaging and accessible learning experiences.
Before joining the University of Colorado Boulder, Marilú spent eight years working on educational initiatives at the Museo de Arte de Ponce and the University of Puerto Rico. Since joining the Leeds School of Business in 2021, she has partnered with faculty and staff to support graduate and online programs through educational technology and project management.
Her curiosity about how education can better serve learners led her to earn a master's degree in Educational Technology Leadership from The George Washington University. During her graduate studies, she received the Jere Trout Memorial Award for developing Puerto Rico Tsunami Education, a bilingual educational website designed to promote tsunami preparedness in Puerto Rico.
Outside of work, Marilú enjoys traveling and believes there's always something new to learn. She's experimented with everything from woodworking, blacksmithing, and welding to sewing, indoor climbing, and whitewater rafting. She's always looking for her next adventure and welcomes suggestions.
