Biography

Don has been teaching at the University of Colorado - Boulder since Fall 2008. He has taught the World of Business (BCOR 1015) and Business Ethics & Social Responsibility (BCOR 2003) courses in the Leeds CESR program. Don has also taught the Excel Lab (BADM 2010), taught in the Business Residential Academic Program (RAP) since Fall 2011 and has been a guest lecturer in several Leeds Business School management courses. Don has also taught Data Analysis in Business (BCOR 1025) and the First Year Global Experience (BADM 1260) course.  Don has also be very active in several Business Ethics Case Competitions and Diversity & Business Ethics Case Competitions. Don has an Associate Degree in Computer Science from SUNY – Farmingdale, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Ramapo College and a MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Don has recently retired from IBM with over 36 1/2 years of business experience in various management, operational and leadership positions. He has served on the INROADS/Colorado Inc. Board of Directors, Junior Achievement/Rocky Mountain Inc. Board of Directors, Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is a past board chair of the Ed & Ruth Lehman YMCA. Don is currently serving on the Advisory Board for Front Range Community College.

Don was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and now lives with his wife Cathy, who also is retired for IBM, in Longmont, CO and they have a daughter, Kimberly, who graduated from Colorado State University. Don’s hobbies include sporting events, golf and reading.
