Erin Penberthy

Erin is an experienced career consultant whose professional background spans high-growth startups and higher education. Erin began her career in recruiting at a technical startup. There, she assisted the organization in developing its inaugural internship program. Erin then transitioned to higher education, working for the University of Colorado, Boulder. For six years, she worked for the Career Services office gaining experience in employer relations, career coaching and overseeing peer coaching programs.

Erin's interest in educational equity then led her to work for Paper (an Ed-Tech startup) where she supervised a large team, providing performance coaching and pedagogical support. Erin currently works as a career coach serving real estate students at the Leeds School of Business.

Throughout her career, Erin has partnered with hundreds of clients in all aspects of professional development including: career exploration, resume and cover letter writing, job and internship search, personal branding, networking, and salary negotiation. Erin brings an empathic and solution-focused approach to her career consulting work. Her experience both in recruitment and employer relations gives Erin a unique understanding of the job search and hiring processes that is beneficial to her clients. Erin obtained her MA in Education and Human Development and is MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory certified.
