Julie has been with CESR since 2018, previously serving as the Associate Director prior to taking over the Center's leadership as Interim Director in 2020. She is passionate about helping students discover how they can use business skills to make a positive difference in the world, and about supporting faculty research driving DEI, sustainability and leadership forward. Julie’s background includes agency-side digital marketing, work at the International Chamber of Commerce and the OECD in Paris, engaging with consumers in the natural products industry, and teaching English in France and South Korea. She graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA with a B.A. in journalism and French. Julie grew up in Boulder and holds an MBA focused in sustainability and a Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Leeds School of Business.
