Sophie Lalonde

Sophie Lalonde is a Senior Product Manager at a Series B, Sequoia-backed, startup called Productboard. It’s been her most recent move in trying to help define the “Future or Work” landscape in Silicon Valley.
 
After a very broad discovery of different jobs like private wealth management, strategy consulting, and venture capital, Sophie finally found what she truly loves in building innovative B2B SaaS technology solutions. She got her start in the industry at Box, and looks up to many companies like Atlassian, Figma, Slack, Twilio, and more.
 
Sophie gained her MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2018 where she specialized in Entrepreneurship. She also holds a bachelor’s in Finance, minor in Math and a certificate in quantitative finance from University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business.
 
Sophie is originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado and will always take anyone up on a mogul skiing or settlers of catan challenge.
 
Most importantly though, Sophie remembers reading bios like these and feeling either overwhelmed or like an imposter. It’s the community at Leeds that really taught her that she could achieve the things she has today, and she hopes to give back to CU in this very way.
