The following funding priorities advance CESR’s impact in three strategic areas: • Providing a best-in-class educational experience for students • Driving thought leadership in areas of expertise unique to Leeds • Promoting research-based best practices that lead to positive change
Diversity & Inclusion Database
This database tracks initiatives in diversity and inclusion (D&I) at Fortune 500 companies and enables research that directly addresses pressing questions about which practices improve outcomes, helping organizations focus their limited resources on actions that work. This work has the potential to influence corporate behavior and dramatically improve inclusion in organizations worldwide, while also driving world-class research. The project is led by Leeds Associate Professor Stefanie Johnson, who was recently recognized as one of the top 30 thought leaders in management by Thinkers50.
CESR Research Fund
Supporting Leeds scholars working in diverse teams to produce and disseminate world-class research in our three themes: business solutions to environmental challenges, diversity and inclusion and ethical, transformative leadership.
MBA Natural & Organic Case Competition
The MBA Natural & Organic Case Competition offers a valuable opportunity to engage talented MBA candidates with pressing business and social impact challenges in the natural products industry. Through the competition, students address complex issues that are particularly relevant to this mission-driven industry, and develop important professional skills related to critical thinking, teamwork, leadership and public speaking.
CESR Program Fund
Every year CESR conducts programming to advance the skills and career prospects of students passionate about corporate social responsibility, and to encourage more students to incorporate impact into their careers. Supporting CESR’s Program Fund allows us to keep these valuable programs accessible to Leeds students of all backgrounds, and to extend our outreach to more diverse students who need financial support in order to participate.
