There’s no one reason Leeds students choose to pursue an MBA over an online alternative. Here are some of the reasons students and recent alumni felt an immersive grad program was the best fit for their professional goals.

“Part of it is commitment. I think committing to an MBA ensures you will follow through on your goals. It’s so easy to say you’ll complete an online course, but for me, I’m more likely to follow through when I’m part of a robust program.”
Amber Hughes (MBA’22), investment associate, RCLCO Fund Advisors

“Having been serving overseas, I was looking not only to develop my business and professional skills, but almost to get back into American culture and society. The network I got in my MBA helped me do that.”
Harrison GreenMaki (MBA’22), senior development analyst, NexCore Group

“If you get your MBA at Leeds, you’re not only pursuing a scholastic endeavor, you’re meeting many people that you’re potentially going to work with, because of how tightly the school is ingrained in the Boulder ecosystem.”
Shannon Flahive (MBA’21), senior venture associate, Ensemble Innovation Ventures

“Actively learning and working at the same time is immensely valuable, because I’m not just sitting on the sidelines learning this passively—I’m actively applying the principles I’ve learned in every single class that I’ve taken.”
Jennifer Jamieson (MBA’23), co-owner, Personal Touch Landscape & Gardening
