Finance students at the Leeds School of Business have access to a wide range of career, academic and professional development resources through the Burridge Center for Finance. 

Whether you're searching for finance internships and jobs, preparing for the CFA exam, exploring student finance organizations, or gaining hands-on experience with Bloomberg and other industry-leading tools, these resources are designed to help you build skills, expand your network and prepare for a successful career in finance.

Finance Student Resources

Leeds Finance Emphasis and MS Finance Programs are part of the CFA's University Affiliation Program

Students in their Junior or Senior year, as well as Graduate students, can apply for a limited number of CFA-Sponsored Scholarships to help off-set the cost of the CFA Exam. The Burridge Center for Finance can also assist with study materials and CFA-specific mentorship.

A student-led community that brings together aspiring entrepreneurs, venture capital enthusiasts, and innovators through workshops, speaker events and startup-focused programming.

CU Quants is a student-led organization dedicated to building a team of academically inclined and interdisciplinary students to successfully promote quantitative finance and provide them with theoretical and applied learning opportunities in quantitative finance.

A student organization dedicated to helping members explore careers in wealth management and financial planning through professional development, networking and industry engagement.
Fixed Income Group (FIG)

A student organization focused on fixed-income markets, credit analysis and investment strategies while providing opportunities for technical skill development and networking.

Investment Banking Club

A club for Sophomore students to prepare for the rigorous application and interview process of Investment Banking.

The Leeds Investment & Trading Group, referred to as LITG, is a student-led organization dedicated to cultivating a group of intellectually curious students equipped with both the critical and creative aptitude to participate in the financial markets. In congruence with this mission, LITG promotes widespread financial literacy among its peers, from all interdisciplinary backgrounds, by providing a unique forum in which members can freely learn, discuss, and debate global market trends and investing opportunities. Additionally, the club coordinates events using online trading simulators to allow members to engage in friendly investment competitions, thereby providing its members with both the fellowship and real world investing expertise that we hope will manifest into prudent investment and career decisions.

The MBA Finance Club is a student-led organization designed to serve as a link between the MBA program and the finance community.

It is a great opportunity to learn more about potential career paths in finance and network with finance professionals, alumni, and fellow students. Additionally, it is my hope that the organization reaches out to more individuals than those interested in traditional finance topics such as corporate finance, investment management, and investment banking through exposure to non-traditional topics such as socially responsible investing. We are committed to planning the best events, speakers, networking and career resourcing activities to further facilitate interest in finance.
