Make/ Model:

Agilent 2100

Instrument Description:

The Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer system provides sizing, quantitation and quality control of DNA, RNA and proteins.  It uses similar technology as gel electrophoresis, yet on a smaller scale with minimal sample consumption (1-4uL).  Samples travel through micro-channels, electrophoretically separated and detected by fluorescence which is translated into an electropherogram and a gel-like image. The concentration detection range for DNA is 5pg/uL-50ug/uL, and the size detection range is from 25bp-12000bp.
