Biography 

Kit is an instructor of accounting at the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder.  He is a certified public accountant. From 2002 to 2004 and 2005 to 2017, Kit worked at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was a partner from 2007 until his retirement in 2017. From 2004 to 2005 he was the corporate controller of a publicly traded real estate investment trust. From 1993 to 2002 Kit worked at Arthur Andersen & Co. He is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in business administration, with an emphasis in accounting.

Since 2016, Kit has taught traditional university accounting courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at multiple universities. Beyond traditional accounting college courses, he has taught executive and professional MBA students and a variety of professional business and accounting courses during his public accounting career.  He has also served as a board member for several charitable and university advisory organizations.
