Colorado Law’s relevant and challenging curriculum prepares you to thrive in a variety of sectors and settings. We offer a traditional three-year Juris Doctor (JD) program and an option for completing the JD in 2.5 years. Deepen your learnings through six dual degree and eight certificate programs.

Colorado Law's first-year, or 1L, curriculum includes traditional core courses and optional 1L courses that expose students to different topics. Our small class size ensures personal interaction with faculty. Each student will be assigned to a student section which will remain consistent for the fall and spring semesters of your first year. We also offer a range of certificate programs, so you can go deeper into a particular field. 1Ls take a full schedule of courses—16 hours in the fall semester and 14 in the spring semester.

During your second and third years, dive deeper into the areas that interest you most. Gain hands-on experience through our nine clinics and experiential learning opportunities.
