Generally, textbook information for a given term is made available on CU Bookstore's website at least two weeks before the term begins, and students can search for new and used books to rent or buy at that time. Books may also be posted to the student myCUInfo portal a few weeks prior to the start of each semester, but students should note that the information on CU Bookstore's website is more complete than what is posted in myCUInfo.
To determine the required materials for a course in advance, or to know if the CU Bookstore has a certain book in stock, students may call the Bookstore’s textbook desk at 303-492-3445 with the course number and section number (for example, LAWS 5121-801).
The CU Bookstore also buys books from students all year round; more information about that is available on its website here.
Note that students may also use the ISBN and other information provided to purchase or rent books from any bookstore or online resource that they prefer. As just one example, the Women's Law Caucus (WLC) operates a consignment bookstore year-round, located on the first floor of the Wolf Law Building, Room 107. For more information about the bookstore, including hours, check out the WLC section of the student organizations page.
