New Fund Supports Diversity and Inclusiveness

In June, Rathod | Mohamedbhai, LLC, established the Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Fund at Colorado Law to provide programmatic and scholarship support to help with the achievement of a diverse student body and to instill the principles of inclusiveness in the Law School community.

"It is important to me—and to many others I speak to—that Colorado Law does everything it can to support its diverse students and create a true atmosphere of inclusiveness," said Law Alumni Board Member Siddhartha Rathod ('07), who was responsible for the creation of this fund. "I am certain that there are alumni who would like their annual support to go toward this critical area, which is why we started the fund."

Colorado Law already has a number of initiatives in place to further diversity and inclusiveness, many of which are headed up by SuSaNi Harris, senior director for diversity and inclusive excellence. "An important step in Colorado Law’s Action Plan is to maintain an engaged, diverse, and inclusive community that helps and supports one another," said Harris. "The financial support provided by this fund will help us expand the efforts in place and ensure our achievement of this goal."
