Hardware Recommendations

Law IT encourages our students to have a laptop. Laptops play a central role in helping students access University services and conduct a wide range of academic work. Your computer should meet the minimum requirements for CU-provided support. Both Macs and PCs are supported; stick with the platform you are comfortable with.

The CU Bookstore offers academic discounts for students on Apple, Dell, HP and Lenovo products. See http://www.cubookstore.com/c-55-computers.aspx for more information

Software Recommendations

Law IT recommends that students have Microsoft Office.  Microsoft offers deep discounts to students for both Windows and Mac versions of office.  Windows users should consider upgrading to the Windows Professional or Enterprise editions.  Check out http://www.theultimatesteal.com to learn more or purchase Office or Windows.
