The law school's annual commencement ceremony takes place in May each year. It is open to December, May, and August graduates. The next law commencement ceremony will be on Friday, May 11, 2018.
3) Order Regalia (through a link that will be provided in February.)
4) RSVP for any events you will attend (through a link that will be provided in April). Guests for the ceremony are unlimited, and you may bring nine guests to the reception. You need not RSVP for attendees younger than three years of age.
5) If your name has a unique pronunciation, submit the correct pronunciation on the RSVP link.
Tickets: Tickets will not be issued for this event. There will be a guest list generated from your RSVPs for the reception at Wolf Law. All are welcome at Macky Auditorium for the Commencement ceremony.
ADA Seating at Macky: Please note on your RSVP if you, or your guest, will need ADA seating at the ceremony. Please designate the number of guests that will be sitting with your ADA guest, so we can reserve an area for the group.
Attire: Most graduates choose to wear coat and tie, dress, or some equivalent thereof. Wear shoes that will be comfortable for the one-mile procession and for standing on grass. May weather is unpredictable, so you may want to bring an umbrella.
Food: Drinks and a light dinner will be served at the reception. Please bring your ID if you plan on drinking alcohol.
Water: Please remember to keep hydrated during the event and remind your guests (especially those from out of town!). Multiple water stations will be provided at the reception, and water bottles will be permitted at Macky.
Parking: Parking is free at Wolf Law, however space is limited so you may want to consider carpooling. Guests are encouraged to take the bus transportation provided from Wolf Law to Macky Auditorium. ADA parking is available at Macky Auditorium for those who have an ADA Parking Placard. Spaces are limited.
RSVP Substitutions: Please send guest substitutions/additions/cancellations to email@example.com.
Campus Commencement: Law students do not typically participate in the CU Boulder campus commencement ceremony at Folsom Field.
