Paul Sheehy

Paul Sheehy is the Founder, President, and General Counsel of ProStar Sports Agency. A certified NFL agent since 1988, he is among a distinguished group of attorneys with over 35 years of experience in professional sports representation. His legal practice includes contract negotiation, injury settlements, grievance resolution, and disciplinary appeals for NFL players, NCAA student-athletes, and football coaches.
Professor Sheehy is admitted to practice law in both Colorado and California. He holds a J.D. and an MBA, and completed advanced negotiation training at the Harvard Negotiation Institute. In addition to his role at the University of Colorado Law School, he taught sports law and contracts at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business for nearly a decade.
He is a frequent speaker and legal commentator on NFL and NCAA related issues and currently serves as Chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s Sports & Entertainment Law Section. He is also a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. Professor Sheehy is a very active member of his community, serving as assistant head football coach and mentor at Dakota Ridge High School in Littleton.
