Dale Hatfield [SFC], is appointed to serve another two-year term on the FCC’s TAC and is actively participating in its Advanced Spectrum Sharing and AI/ML Working Groups. The TAC was established in 1998 when Dale was Chief of the Office of Engineering and Technology at the FCC. Hatfield is featured in a feature-length documentary that puts the telecommunications revolution into historical context, When Wire Was King: The Transformation of Telecommunications produced by Jennifer Manner and syndicated by American Public Television. Currently showing on PBS stations across the U.S. The Wireless History Foundation published a video this year highlighting Dale’s career as an engineer and as a policy maker in DC during the early days of cellular. 2023-24 SFC Impact Report.
