Faculty & Staff

Faculty and students alike choose Colorado Law because its size and setting allow for a collaborative yet personalized approach to legal education. Our faculty members are passionate about teaching and are committed to providing students with a well-rounded learning experience that prepares them to serve wisely and with professionalism. Their highest calling is interacting with students in and out of the classroom and with a low student-faculty ratio of 14:1, they are easily accessible for informal consultations.

Our faculty ranks among the most prolific and often-cited law faculties in the nation. They are an eclectic and self-directed group of nationally recognized scholars that influence legal and public policy debates at the local, regional, national, and international levels through original, path-breaking research, influential publication, and public service. These outstanding teachers and scholars come to Colorado with a passion for teaching, research, and scholarship and thrive in a community of ideas.

Each year, Colorado Law attracts visiting national and international teachers and scholars from various fields including legal academia, practicing lawyers, government, judiciary, and business. These experts, serving as adjuncts and lecturers, provide our students with supplemental curriculum and provide our faculty with invaluable insights and diversity of perspectives.
