  • Advice from a bar exam re-taker who has successfully passed the bar exam:
    • Take a moment to wallow in whatever emotion you may be experiencing in the wake of not passing the exam. Just a moment. Then let it go and move on. Moving forward, stay as positive as possible.
    • Know that you will be a lawyer. It is just taking you a little longer than you originally anticipated.
    • Remember why you wanted to be a lawyer in the first place. This should help keep things in perspective and fuel your preparation to improve upon your performance.
    • Learn from your last experience. Request a copy of your written answers and review them. Assess what went well and what did not. Focus on those areas that you struggled with previously. Then practice, practice, practice.
