Colleen O'Laughlin

Colleen O’Laughlin is an experienced legal educator and practitioner, who teaches Legal Analysis and leads skills workshops. Colleen taught legal analysis and academic skills at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and the University of California - Irvine School of Law. She also taught in the civil litigation and mediation clinics at the University of Denver and in the Bar Success programs of both Colorado law schools.
Colleen also practiced civil litigation, appellate, education, and employment law in a mid-size firm, in two gigs as assistant attorney general, at her own law and mediation firm, and as in-house counsel for a large public school district.
She is a proud CU Buff business school grad and earned her J.D. at the University of Denver. Colleen enjoys hiking, eating, writing, scuba diving, and traveling—not necessarily in that order—and considers Paris, France her favorite hobby.
