Carole retired from Exxon Mobil Corporation, the world’s largest publicly-traded oil company with operations and marketing in most of the world’s countries, as Chief Attorney for ExxonMobil Global Services Company (GSC), managing 22 attorneys in the US and coordinating a network of more than 50 affiliate attorneys worldwide. She was also the lead lawyer for ExxonMobil’s data privacy activities, leading a team that developed and implemented a globally comprehensive data privacy law compliance program. 

Carole was with ExxonMobil for 33 years, supporting GSC for the last seven of those years. Prior to that, she held a number of management and legal positions for ExxonMobil, including Chief Attorney for the ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing Company. Prior to the merger between Exxon and Mobil, she was elected Corporate Secretary for Mobil Corporation, responsible for all Board of Directors, shareholder relations and stock listing issues.

Carole received her undergraduate and JD degrees from CU. Carole established the Yaley Family Law Scholarship, which provides scholarships to 2L and 3L students who are interested in an in-house legal career with respect to transactional and international law. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Central City Opera House Association and the OPERA America national Board of Directors.
