AnnaKatherine is the Head of Access Services at the Wise Law Library and Assistant Teaching Professor at Colorado Law. Her role includes overseeing circulation operations, as well as providing legal research services and teaching a section of the required 1L Foundations of Legal Research course. Prior to joining Colorado Law in 2023, she enjoyed a tenure at Suffolk University Law School in Boston as a Legal Research Librarian and then Legal Research and Innovation Librarian providing reference services, as well as 1L reference instruction and faculty research and instruction support. She also taught Legal Research and Writing in the undergraduate law program.
AnnaKatherine began her career in higher education as an instructor of first year writing and survey of literature courses. She earned her AB in vocal performance and English for Wesleyan College in Macon, GA before going on to earn an MA in literature concentrating in Old English translation from the College of Charleston and The Citadel jointly. AnnaKatherine holds a JD from New England Law | Boston, and she earned her MLIS at Simmons University in Boston. She also completed her MFA concentrating in popular fiction and publishing at Emerson College. Her research interests are diverse, including the intersection of law and popular culture and equitable instruction in legal education.
