Allison Eid, currently an Associate Professor at Colorado Law, will take a leave of absence until January of 2007 to serve as Solicitor General for the State of Colorado. Professor Eid previously worked for the Denver law firm of Arnold & Porter, and as a law clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas of the United States Supreme Court. Acting Solicitor General John Krause will remain in that position until Professor Eid joins the office at the end of the 2004-05 academic year.
