Description: The GUST Team seeks to augment an existing UAV/UAS autopilot software in order to implement the parameter of time. The final product will verify feasibility of a commanded path, simulate the performance of a UAS, and command the UAS to predetermined geographic waypoints at specified times, verifying performance via an independent ground truth system. The resulting UAS could be used to complete various mission objectives, including the IRISS initiative of communicating with and flying a drone along a flight trajectory that can emulate a LEO satellite passing overhead.
