Meet Our Faculty

Associate Professor

I am an avid fan of Science Fiction and Fantasy writing and engage in as much pleasure reading as my job permits (not very much). My favorite sic-fi authors are Peter Hamilton, Iain M. Banks, and Douglas Adams. My favorite Fantasy authors are Steven Erikson, Tad Williams, and Terry Pratchett. I recently finished reading the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy to my eldest child and plan to do the same for my other two kids. I love to play board games and card games, especially anything created by Steve Jackson Games (Munchkin rules!) and I enjoy supporting the love my kids have for Minecraft by helping them to install mods and per-releases. I intend to teach all of my kids how to program and I look forward to making all three of them just as geeky as I am.
