Certificates

Smead Aerospace offers multiple certificate programs for current degree-seeking students and for students who are not obtaining degrees to augment your education, improve your career options, or meet MS degree requirements. Completion of all required courses with a grade of B or better is required to earn a certificate.

• Satellite Systems Design
• Space Weather and Applications
• Engineering Management in the Aerospace Industry - Joint certificate with the Engineering Management Program. Contact the Engineering Management Program for information, advising, and enrollment.

Certificates for degree-seeking students only

• Radio Frequency Engineering for Aerospace  - Joint certificate with Electrical, Computer & Energy Engineering

Enrollment

• Degree-seeking students: For enrollment, complete the Certificate Enrollment Form
• Non-degree seeking students (Continuing Education): Please visit our Certificates and Continuing Education page for enrollment details.

Awarding a Completed Certificate

• Completed your certificate? Congratulations! Please fill out the Certificate Award Request Form.
  • This form is for both degree-seeking and non-degree seeking students.
  • A grade of B or higher is required in all courses to earn a certificate.
  • If you are also pursuing other graduate certificates, you cannot use the same courses to count for both certificates.
