Hi CEAE Students,

This undergraduate student letter usually goes out every other Monday, but this week it's being sent on Tuesday.

I'd like to highlight two important events below.  Today is the Fall 2024 CEAE Welcome Back Event , happening from 4-6 p.m. located in the Herbst Plaza (outside between the DLC and ITLL). See more details below!

Also, save the date for the Civil, Environmental, & Architectural Career & Internship Fair on Sept. 25, from Noon—4 p.m., in the UMC Ballroom. There's no better way to find a job or internship.  More information can be found below.

CEAE Faculty Stories
Join us for the Faculty Stories Series, where CEAE faculty share their journey into engineering, current projects and future plans. Light food and refreshments will be served.

AREN Global Intensive - Energy Systems for the Built Environment
Work hard and have fun!
This global intensive course, a collaboration between CU Boulder, Politecnico di Milano, and the University of Brescia, will focus on district-scale energy concepts and modeling. The 12-day program in May 2025 takes place in Lecco, Italy, near Lake Como. Students will learn urban-scale building energy analysis, using platforms like URBANopt™ and REopt™ to explore the benefits of interactive building and energy resource design. The course fosters international collaboration, pairing students from the U.S. and Italy to enhance learning across different educational systems and cultural backgrounds.

Contact Professor Gregor Henze for questions and to be added to the global intensive roster.
